“Whereas Theater LaB Houston, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the launching of its Thespian Park.
Thespian Park is located in the First Ward, one of Houston's oldest neighborhoods.
And whereas these Thespian Park's, beautiful, detailed landscaping,
will serve as a beacon of light as members of the First Ward community work
toward revitalization and redevelopment.
And now therefore, Let it be resolved that on behalf of the constituents of the 18th Congressional District,
I take great pride in recognizing the grand opening of Thespian Park.
I congratulate and applaud the First Ward community and all those who are
involved in bringing this project to the Houston community.
Indeed, your dedication and commitment to the restoration of this historic neighborhood
is deserving of the respect, admiration, and commendation of the United States Congress.”
